Celebration of Halloween!

Okay, I know it’s not even October yet, but these cats don’t care! They are ready for a Halloween celebration!

These skellie cats had their Jack-o-lanterns ready for their celebration of Halloween!

Diving Right Into Halloween!

As I sit here typing, looking out my front window onto the foggy hills, I’m super excited at the crisp feeling of fall in the air! Finally we have some reprieve from the oppressive humidity that plagued this part of Pennsylvania this summer. With that said, I’ve been painting non-stop Halloween and Autumn paintings for a week. I need to catch up posting them here on the blog, so here are a couple new Halloween Witch Cats for 2016. =)

The Pumpkin Carvers (and a note on art theft.)

“The Pumpkin Carvers”

-Painted with Golden acrylics.
-10″ x 8″ wrapped canvas
-Topped with two coats of gloss varnish.
-Signed, titled, and dated on the back by me!

These three prided themselves on how well they could carve a pumpkin! Here they sat for a portrait with their pumpkins. =)

I can’t apologize about the extra large copyright, when I find numerous websites selling my art unauthorized. It’s every.single.day I get a note from someone that they saw my art being sold on this website, or that website, or they saw an advertisement on Facebook using my art…that led them to a website where it’s being sold. It’s ridiculous! But the worst so far was finding my art on a Pier One rug. So the large copyright is here to stay. I might even make it even larger yet…

Is It Halloween Yet?

Only 51 days away! I’ve been painting a lot of Halloween and autumn paintings. Trying to get into the cool autumn mindset, while I melt from this heat and humidity in Pennsylvania. I know I say every year that I can’t wait until Halloween, but I really can’t wait this year!

I’m so excited for it, that I have created some new ornaments this year! Introducing Little Devil Cat, and Frankencat & Bride of Frankencat! They’re available in my Etsy shop.
